Water Inlet Areas for CPP Perforated Pipe
Both CPP flexible single wall and double wall smooth core pipes are available with perforations.
CPP Single-Wall Septic Sewer underdrains have the Drilled round hole style perforations. CPP Septic Sewer pipes are available in the following single wall sizes: 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″. The inlet areas for our Septic Sewer pipes are as follows:

| No Inlet Area is required for septic pipes per say–Only that the perforation should be within a certain rage. All CPP Septic Pipes are manufactured to be within the allowed range. Ranges may vary from state to state. It is the responsibility of the user to follow the local septic requirements. | |||
CPP Single-Wall Stormwater underdrain pipes have the SLOT style perforations in sizes 3″ to 15″. The 18″ and 24″ CPP Single-Walls have the Drilled round hole style perforations. Sizes 3″ – 10″ have 4 slots per valley, staggered from valley to valley at a 45 degree angle around the circumference of the pipe. Sizes 12″ – 24″ have 8 slots/holes per valley spaced evenly around the circumference of the pipe. The water inlet area per square inch for all single wall sizes are as follows:

CPP SMOOTH-CORE Double Walled pipes with a corrugated exterior wall, and a smooth interior wall has the Drilled round hole type of perforation in sizes 4″ to 48″. Drilled holes allow for more Inlet Area in the pipe’s surface while not jeopardizing a pipe’s loadbearing strength that is often needed. Holes are evenly spaced at 45 degree angles around the circumference of the pipe on sizes 4″ – 36″. Holes are spaced evenly at 36 degree angles around the circumference of the pipe on sizes 42″ and 48″.
